If there ultimately is no purpose to the world, to the universe, except the feeble attempts at same by we human beings, I ask that you read again what I wrote about we human beings’ ultimate skill at taking things for granted. Because if there is no grand design we are working off of, there are certainly a LOT of coincidences, and accidents both great and small in our favor, and beauty’s favor, and reason’s favor, etc., etc. The latest myth seems to be that perhaps the universe is the way it is because it has to be, that there is no other way it will work. Really? Then why does it have to be? Why does it work in such a way that it can work in no other way? Even there, you take certain things as given. Try not to. The world is more wonderful than you can possibly conceive.
